Summer Bishil

 Summer Yasmine Bishil, born 17 July 1988 is an American actress. She first came to prominence by playing Jasira in 2007's film Towelhead that she received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Over the next few years she played minor part in films as well as TV series such as The Last Airbender (2010) and 90210 (2011) prior to her role in the short-lived ABC series Lucky 7 (2013). She played Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy drama The Magicians from 2015 to 2020.The September 11th 2001 terrorist attack prompted her family to return to the United States. They relocated to the Mormon community in San Diego where she attended the regular public high school for a week. In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks within the U.S., her schoolmates didn't welcome her warmly. She said that her return was not an easy one: "I hated it. I was called a whore on the first day of school and a person said my dad was the one who funded terrorism. I just knew that nobody would ever wish to be my friend there. I suffered from panic attacks throughout the first year here."
