Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now a Romanian/German actress. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already been offered a variety of television roles for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed performance in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra's work has led her to participate in several significant national and international productions. The projects include British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Other roles she has held include being juror at each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
