Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed on TV and in films is best known for films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had obtained a few television appearances, including the lead role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. The critically acclaimed character she played in the television movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. This film was nominated for an Oscar and received critical acclaim. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films that feature this beautiful female diva. Through the years, Alexandra has appeared in many notable international and national projects. They include those of the British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French Historical Miniseries Napoleon. The actress also served on the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
