Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 in North Carolina. He is a mixed-race child of Manny James and Patty James. The mother of Manny James is caucasian and his father is Nigerian. He graduated in 2010 of Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James was first noticed when he was a Reality Actor in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was picked to become the season's 25th bachelor on The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The series premiered in 2021. James is a great fit to the job because his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a good sense of humor. Rachael Krokconnell won the competition because James decided to enter into a romantic relationship with her. In 2021 he partnered with the famous dancer Arnold to take part in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th.
